Nir Nakav has been obsessed with drums for over 45 years.
He graduated the Tel Aviv Youth Orchestra when he was eighteen
and was the drummer of the first army jazz ensemble during his
military service in the IDF. Nir continued his studies at Musician’s
Institute, Hollywood in 1995 and got his B.A.in Psychology and Education in 2017.
Best known for his work with Israel’s premier metal act, Salem with whom
he released five albums and two live DVDs, Nir went on to become one
of the most recorded drummers in the country featured as a drummer
and a producer on dozens of rock and metal albums while playing
countless shows all over the world and authoring three drum method books.
